FAMILY OWNED SINCE 1981

Main Street Tire was opened by Gary TerBeek in 1981. With a true entrepreneur mind, he built the business for many years mentoring, employing and feeding into many people that came to greatly respect him.  His wife Kim worked in the business for years while raising their 3 sons. He taught the business to his sons, two of which have made a career out of tires including David, who now runs Main Street Tire and Jon, who ran TerBeek's Tire Service in Wellford.  His other son Joe worked in the business for years, then left to join the Army.   Nephew James Trangmar runs his other business, Quality Tire in Homeland Park.  Unfortunately, Gary's passing in December of 2019 was a surprise to all, and certainly a sad time, however he would be very proud that his legacy and businesses have continued strong.
